Our Philosophy

We create coffee obsession

Espresso Da Vinci is a modern Italian high-end coffee company with a production unit in Greece. Our charismatic team, composed of dedicated professionals, has inherited decades of experience from the best Italian roasters to bring you an exceptional coffee experience. We're proud to create coffee that's truly unmatched in taste and aroma. Our philosophy is to import superior quality coffee beans processed in state-of-the-art equipment combining the values of tradition and innovation along the process.

Well-trained roasting masters select the finest varieties of Arabica and Robusta beans from plantations located in extremely high altitudes, renowned for their clean air and rich subsoil. Once we receive green coffee beans that have been certified for their quality and origin, we start the roasting process with one clear goal in mind - to achieve the perfect taste.

The owner and master roaster of Espresso Da Vinci, Andreas Fasoulis, creates unique blends that are replicated through special computer programs, allowing for the automatic processing of coffee from green beans to packaging. A food technologist on the ten-member staff ensures the baking and packaging process adheres to HACCP regulations for optimal food hygiene.

Dedication, experience & respect to Italian coffee tradition!

Facilities

High tech, high quality, high expectations

Espresso Da Vinci has been based in Padova, northern Italy, since 2013. In 2022,the company constructed a state-of-art production unit in Greece, particularly occupying and trasforming a historic stone building in Athens into its premises which houses storing, processing, and packaging our high-quality coffee.

Trained roasting experts receive the green coffee beans and keep them in a designated room before transferring them to the weighing scale and the roaster via air. Once roasted, the coffee is moved by elevators to specially designed silos, resting for 24 hours before blending and packaging. The coffee is then left to mature for 18 days and undergoes the degas process.

Our story

Behind a successful brand there’s always a great story

Andreas Fasoulis, the owner of Espresso Da Vinci , started his journey in the coffee industry in 2004 as a representative for the Italian coffee trading company "TAZZA D’ORO." In 2013, when the company was temporarily closed, Espresso Da Vinci was officially founded in Italy, while "Caffe Del Doge", a factory in Padova, took over the production of coffee.

Soon, Espresso DaVinci became the first company in Greece to provide private-label espresso service. In 2021, a significant investment was made, and a new phase of the company began, creating a production unit in Athens that can produce and package approximately 80 tons of coffee per month. In 2023, ten years after its establishment, Espresso Da Vinci underwent a total rebranding. It redefined its goals to focus on expanding its network within Europe by increasing its exports out of the country.
